Spouse visa extension financial requirement help

Post by Naseemr » Tue Feb 05, 2019 10:13 pm

I need to combine both mine and my wifes income to meet the financial requirement for my wifes spouse visa.

I am employed for less the 6 months with my current employer on a salary based income also over the last 12 months i have not earned more then £18,600

My wifes is on a zero hour contract and paid non slaried income (hourly). She has been employed for more than 6 months. Shes also does not meet the finacial income on her own.

Combied we both have exeeded the financial income when calculated over 12 months.

Would i be able to use both our incomes to apply for a extension (after the orginal 2.5 years) u der cat b?

Thank you

You are with your employer from less than 6 months, therefore, you will fit under category B but your wife is working from more than 6 months with same employer, therefore will fit under category A. However, if your wife wishes then voluntarily can choose category B. Yes you both can combine your incomes under category B.
