Additional payday occurs between application submission and UKVCAS appointment

Post by andmon » Tue Jul 16, 2019 9:19 am

My wife’s spouse visa extension was applied and paid for yesterday through the UKVI website. All documents are ready to upload to UKVCAS. The employer letter and payslips are for January to June (salaried employment, paid at end of each month).

The UKVCAS appointment is in August and another payday occurs before then. Does that mean I should wait and upload February to July’s payslips instead? Or are the documents I already have fine?

Thanks in advance for any help!

I think I've found the answer. The document checklist states:
Payslips covering a period of 6 months prior to the date of application.

In my case, I take that to mean the 6 payslips preceding yesterday's application submission (Jan to Jun) and not the 6 payslips preceding the UKVCAS appointment (Feb to Jul).

Yes.

The application date is the date the application is submitted and paid for.
It is not the biometrics date where it is different from the above, which it usually is.
