I have been a spectator on this web site for quiet a while now and i was just granted a 2 year spousal visa to join my husband in the UK.
I will start my story from the begining, i came to the uk as a student and ended up overstaying for a significant amount of time due to circumstances beyond my control.last month i decided to go to my country so i could sort things out. my husband and i got married and he travelled back to the uk.2 weeks ago i submitted my application and all the supporting documents and i very honestly explained myself to the ECO.i went back home feeling gutted with a dark feeling that i would get a refusal but 48 hrs after the submission, they rung me saying i should go to the embassy to get my visa decision. i went to the embassy feeling so scared when they handed me my documents and passport i sat down to see what was in my passport. there it was a,2 year spousal visa. i couldnt believe it. but i owe it all to God.
So all i would like to say is this is a very help ful website and thanks to all those pipo that put there stories up its really encouraging
