Tax-free ISA entitlement

Post by WooHoo » Fri Sep 26, 2008 10:03 pm

Does anyone know:

Is my wife, who is on a 2 year marriage visa, entitled to a tax-free ISA?

Cheers :)

I believe so as she is allowed to work and therfore has access to a personal tax allowance and all the pros & cons that go with it.

I think anyone who is tax resident in the UK is entitled to hold an ISA irrespective of their immigration status.
