Help regarding Application

Post by Mmrzamz » Thu Feb 25, 2021 6:13 am

Hi all,

Been combing through the forums just to get some insight. I'll be applying for my wife's visa next month and had a couple of questions.

1. Employment letter- if I apply on the 19th March would the letter be accepted if it was dated 16th March or would I have to get it dated for the 19th March onwards?

2. Financial requirement- I work 40 hours a week in a permanent full time position. My salary is £29,224 and I get paid weekly however it varies based on the overtime I do. Either way the lowest pay I received in a week was 468 (sickness) gross which times by 52 is £24,336. I just need confirmation that I meet the requirement.

3. Do I need to get my passport certified?

4. I got married last year in Pakistan on 18th April 2020. Due to covid I was there till 2nd July 2020 and then visited again in October for 3 weeks. I have photos in PDF formats with annotations already saved of our time together as well as WhatsApp chats, remittance, wedding photos to show a genuine and subsisting relationship. Is there anything else I need?

5. Payslips- my payslips are delivered as well as having an online copy. Employer name is clearly viewable on the payslip where it says employers name is it correct to assume I can use the online copies or does this phrase mean I have to have it on headed paper where the companies name on it?

Greatly appreciate any insights you have

Kind regards,

Mohammed

1. Yes it will be within 28 days rule.
2. No
3. Yes all these should suffice.
4. You can use either however if payslips are electronic, your employer should confirm they are genuine and authentic when issuing your employment letter and if you use the payslips delivered to via post, no need for employer to state it is genuine.
My opinions should not be constituted as an immigration or legal advice.

Also I get paid weekly, so for 6 months worth of payslips would I have to gather 26 payslips (52 weeks in a year/2)? I started working on the 14th September but get paid a week in arrears so my first payment was on the 25th September. My 26th payslip will be here on the 19th March and I will submit my application then I have read the guides and forums and to me it meets the requirements just wanted to get a second opinion.
