Right to work

Post by zeeshi1122 » Wed Mar 03, 2021 5:17 pm

Hi everyone,

Currently my wife is on tier 4 student visa with expiry date of 13th march and she will be applying for FLR (M) before the expiry.

My question is as her course was finished in November last year is she allowed do take full time employment while waiting for FLR (M) outcome?
Thanks

If your wife makes an in-time application (on or before 13 March) her visa conditions as a Tier 4 student will continue until her application is decided. This is under section 3c of the Immigration Act 1971.

Full time working after the completion of studies is allowed for T4 students while they have valid permission, as your wife has at present and will have after her in-time application has been submitted.

Note that he restrictions on the type of work undertaken continue to apply.
