I want to explore immigration options for my brother with the possibility for settlement in UK.
For the background, I currently hold ILR and have applied for citizenship this year. My husband is a British citizen from the route of Tier 2 visa.
Initially I applied for my brother’s visit visa in 2018 and it was rejected on the basis that he does not have strong family ties back home and have no source of income. My brother is single. Both of our parents have passed away and he currently lives with our uncle’s family and is clinically diagnosed with psychosis. He has never been employed and is fully supported by me financially to date. Me and my husband both earn good and hence proving that we’ll continue to provide financial support should not be an issue. He is not fit to live alone and is also advised by the doctor (in Pakistan) to be living with the family for the social and mental support. Being his only family, I want him to accompany me in UK, also to free my uncle’s family of any burden and therefore looking for advise regarding what immigration options might be there.
Any guidance on this would be helpful, would be possible to bring him over?
Thanks
