Unable to book LITUK test

Hi all,
I have been trying to book my life in the UK test at the Milton Keynes centre but I keep getting this message:
''We are still awaiting confirmation of your payment. You will receive an email when this has been processed''. However, I did not receive any email and had my booking cancelled after 48 hours. Is there a way around this?

What is your mode of payment? If it is a debit or credit card, have you tried another card? Have you tried contacting your bank to check with them?
