Spouse Visa Extension and New Job

Hello There,

I am going to apply for my wife's spouse visa extension at the end of this month. I just have few questions about the financial requirements as I have just started a new job.
1) I left my previous job on 31st of December and prior to leaving the job I received more £30000 in salary from that employment. After leaving the job I was traveling and just started a new job from 1st April. (I have all the payslips as well as bank statements confirming the salary)
2) my new job salary is more than £18600. However I will only be able to provide one payslip as the application is end of this month.

Can you give me advice on how I should I proceed with the application. Also for her application which English exam to give? A2, B1 or B2?
