My Patner has a spouse visa looking to devorce and we have a baby on the way.

Post by Picton » Tue May 10, 2022 7:01 am

My new girlfriend and I are expecting a baby in August. She is still married to her ex and they are looking to finalise their devorce in July or August if time permits. The Ex Husband is living with his new Family.
My question is, what route should I take to keep her here. We are planning to get married when she gets devorce.
What course of action should I take IF I WANT HER TO STAY WITH ME AND GETTING MARRIED HERE IN THE UK AFTER HER DEVORCE. SHE IS DUE IN AUGUST 2022.

From you flag, I’m guessing that you are British and in the UK? What is your girlfriend’s Immigration status and history?

Sorry should have changed my Flag. I am in the British Army under a different Visa indefinite time while I'm in the army.
She came to the UK with a spouse visa under sponsor from her (ex) Husband. Visa expires in 2024. Still haven't informed HO Of separation but their devorce is yet to be finalised with baby expected in August.
