Finance Visa with dependents

Post by jc3013 » Mon May 30, 2022 11:08 pm

Hi there,

I am trying to get my partner and stepchildren over to the UK, we tried to do it last year but time got the better of us so now we are reapplying.

It seems the avenues have changed, or they are the same but with new options.

We intend to get them all over on a fiancee visa (family visa) so three separate visas.

Would anyone be able to confirm these are the correct visas to use for a fiancee visa + 2 dependents?

Partner = apply to enter the UK as a partner

Children = Apply to enter the UK as a child dependent of a parent who is applying for (or already has) permission to be in the UK as a partner.

Any help would be amazing thank you!

Cheers

Finance Visa with dependents

Hi Team,

We are in the final stages of our family visa application, I will be applying to bring over my fiance and her two boys (She has legal full custody and we meet the financial requirements)

I'm a little perplexed by the child applications, it keeps taking us to the top one on this list https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... ype/funnel
(Titled: Join or accompany a family member, who either is already in or will be traveling to the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.

However, it asks questions about our combined expenses (mine and my partner's) however we don't live together, and then at the final stage if the application it talks about paying an NHS levy which I know we will pay once we apply for the visa after marriage but not for this visa.

Are we just using the wrong application for the children?

Thanks!
