Hello all,
Please be kind, as application done ourselves.
We fit the criteria perfectly. My financials evidence, accom, English, relationship evidence, registry booking and emails to evening events ect ect however;
The gov site can be abit confusing when applying to come to U.K. as a partner/ family visa.
This is for a fiancé visa. In the relationship box we ticket unmarried partner as it seemed the most fitting. As it states we are in relationship but not married which is absolutely correct. Then I’ve learnt we needed to put single. However on the application it says relationship to sponsor fiance ect. It asks to provide evidence to prove we are unmarried patters also which I realise why it has. Everyone of our 5 cover letters state fiancé visa at the top. About us and then for ours about our wedding ect so we have made it clear we want to settle in the U.K/get married. While my fiancé was visiting the U.K. this year we managed to find a place to stay. My landlord gave me a letter to state we have the agreement, I pay the rent on time the size of the place as its an annex ect and a tenancy agreement as well in our names, I also realise it shouldn’t be in both our names only mine. We advised this is to prove we are unmarried partners (again not realising) I’m hoping they will see the confusion and I don’t want to get my landlord in trouble and i wish they would email if needed to obtain more information ie a new ten agree in my name if needed. All I can do is hope and pray! Anyone else made a similar mistake or got confused and how it went?
