Bank Movement, Funds Available and Validity

Hello,

Does Immigration officer or the one that checks the spouse visa applications. Do they check the Bank Movement and the amount the Sponsor has on their account?

We plan to pass our application on the 1st week of March. I would have met the Income threshold of £18,600 with my 6 months of payslips. However I will only have roughly around £1,300 to £1,400 on my account by then. Will they scrutinize this or affect the outcome or results?

At the same time will they scrutinize the movements of my funds when they look at my bank statements? Like do I need to create a letter to inform them where the big transactions have come from?

Lastly in regards to the new law being passed on the Spring of 2024. If we pass our application on the 1st week of March with a visa priority. Then the new law passes on the end of march or start of april. Will our application be affected?

Your bank account balance does not come as a factor, its your income to meet £18,600 that matters.

At the same time will they scrutinize the movements of my funds when they look at my bank statements? Like do I need to create a letter to inform them where the big transactions have come from?

Then the new law passes on the end of march or start of april. Will our application be affected? We don't know exactly when the implementation date will be, application made before such a date should not be affected retroactively.
