Depenadant Visa-Represntative of Overseas Business

Post by Haadiz » Tue Jul 02, 2024 8:11 pm

Dear Gurus,

I am writing on behalf of my friend who is currently stationed in Dubai, his visa application for Representative of an overseas business has been recently approved.

He has recently submitted visa application for his partner and 2 children, but home office sent his wife an email to clarify the following;

We are unable to conclude the application at this time as we require additional information.

Dependant details

Does anyone rely on you for financial support?
Include both those travelling with you and those
who are not - No

Please provide the following documents:

- Your children are travelling and applications have been received. Please thoroughly explain why you have not declared your children on your application, as asked above?

Our response to their questions are as follows; I am not sure that the clarification we have provided is sufficient, or do we have to provide any additional information?

1. I have considered all three of us (me and my two daughters) as dependents of BRP Holder
which is my husband, and thus his financial bank statement has been attached with the
application.

2. I, myself, have applied for the visa of “Partner (Dependant) of a Representative of an Overseas
Business”, and the question was if they rely on “my” financial support and my response was
negative considering they rely on my husband’s financial support. However, I have attached
my financial bank statement as well and can support my children.

3. It was a presumption from my end that there needs to three individual and separate
applications of dependents (one partner and two children) and hence their names were not
included in my application.

Please advise, if the above statement is correct and this will defend the argument?

Thank you in advance
