10 year and 5 year route combined

Post by hhsmp » Thu Sep 12, 2024 12:39 pm

Hi,
Need some guidance from experts here. Is it possible to combine a 10-year and 5-year route and apply for ILR? In 2019, my wide was put on 10 years since financial criteria was not met (which was 2k short as dividends were not withdrawn on time)

Case history below:

Student life
0. VISA 0: 3 years approx between 2009 - 2012.

Married life
1. VISA1 - 26/05/16 to 25/01/17 (initial grant in order to travel to UK as spouse)
2. BRP1 - 21/12/16 to 04/10/19 (first BRP replacing the initial grant visa - BRP lost and replacement ordered in March 2017)
3. VISA2 - 05/04/17 to 05/05/17 (temp visit visa to enter UK while replacement BRP arrives)
4. BRP2 - 23/05/17 to 04/10/19 (second BRP replacing BRP1)
5. BRP3 - 04/10/19 to 04/04/22 (first extension granted for 30 months and put on 10 year route)
6. BRP4 - 25/04/22 to 31/10/24 (possibly back on 5 year route)

Does she qualify for ILR now or I go for another/last extension? I am thinking combined 10 year on all visas if not a combination of 10 and 5 year route since marriage.

Thanks
Rgds,

No. Your best option at this point is to extend till long residence is achieved.
