Dependent Visa on a new entrant skilled worker visa

Post by JahangirV » Thu Sep 19, 2024 7:28 pm

Hello,

I am in the UK since 3 years, and currently on a post study work visa (due to expire in January 2025). I got married last December and my wife has now got a Skilled worker visa on a new entrant route for 2 years.

Now I am planning to apply for a dependent visa on her’s. So I had a question that how much will I have to pay for the visa application fees and also health surcharge. I have read that the dependent on a graduate visa have to pay lesser application and IHS fees.

Since I am on a graduate visa, am I eligible to pay less fees or do I have to pay (£1035 as IHS for 2 years and visa application fees £1258)?

Would really appreciate your help in this.

Kind regards,
Jehangir
