Help extension for my partner

Hello, I have a question regarding my husband's visa extension. I was the main applicant, and he was my dependent until I obtained my Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) through FLR(DL). Now we are trying to extend his visa, but we are unsure which application to use. We are considering FLR(FP). Is that correct? Do we follow partner route or private life? Does he need to have an English test certificate?

Now we are trying to extend his visa, because he has last extension left to complete 10 years route but we are unsure which application to use. We are considering FLR(FP) or is it going to be same as before FLR(DL)?
Do we follow partner route or private life? Does he need to have an English test certificate?
