FLR-FP visa for married parents of a 7 year old settled child

Post by Keiceee » Mon Jul 14, 2025 6:36 pm

Hello, I need advice concerning FLR FP visa application for a married couple with a UK settled child. What are our chances of getting an approval? Who has done this before? What are the must have documents? Do we stand a chance? I need help from those who have plied this route. The anxiety I’m going through is really more than I can bear. Is the home office particularly denying visa to most people in my situation (married parents of a settled child). What I need the most is - mistakes to avoid. The following are relevant facts about us(parents of a 7 year old UK settled child ) We are currently on a skilled worker visa and we wish to use FLR FP visa application to transition away from SWV We have lived in the UK for 8 years on valid visas and we don’t have any bad immigration history. Our child was born in Uk and has lived continuously in UK for 7 years and has ILR. I contacted a solicitor who discouraged me from this idea but recommended I extend my skilled worker visa to avoid disappointment.
