EEA family permit - supporting documents as wife of EEA Memb

Post by ken00 » Wed Feb 18, 2009 12:44 pm

The list of supporting documents written on the application is short. Is there anything else I should send that would be helpful?

Thanks.

Is this referring to your Unmarried Partner application? Best to stick to the one thread to avoid confusion.

No. That's why I started a new post.

We're thinking that it might be best to get married now for documents, then have the celebration with family and friends as planned in June.

OK. You would have more rights under EU regulations if you were married.
If your partner is going to be 'exercising his treaty rights' in the UK as a student, if you aren't married you'll be deemed to be an extended family member, and as such, there is no provision for a Residence Card application, and no automatic rights unless he is working...which could be part-time. I assume that you don't have a registered partnership?
As I queried on your other post...where are you both living at the moment?

He works full time in London. He's not a student.

This post was to learn about any extra supporting documents that might be useful for an EEA family permit as his wife - beyond what is already written in the application.
