3 months or 28 days to travel to the UK (spouse visa)

Hi, i would like to know if there is a 28 days window to travel to the UK once the Spouse visa is stamped, or has it changed to 3 months, and if so do you need to inform the entry clearing officer that you are going to travel after 28 days or is it automatically done. Thanks

You should tell the Entry Clearance Officer the exact date on which you will be travelling before your visa is issued. (You can ask for it to be post-dated for up to three months if you do not plan to travel immediately).
