Please help, EEA Family Permit (Unmarried)

Post by Ting » Wed May 06, 2009 7:16 pm

Dear all,

I am from Taiwan and have been with my Swedish girl friend for more than two years in the UK sice we were studying and now she is working. I would like to apply for the EEA Family Permit (Unmarried Partner) Visa and was wondering what are the requirements and documents that I need to prepare for or even if I am eligible to appy for this visa?

Have tried to search on the forum and HomeOffice website but couldn't really find the right info, please help me.

Many thanks

If you are residing within the UK you apply for the Residence Card on form EEA2, see http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/eucit ... ropeanlaw/. The condition for unmarried partners is a durable relationship, that is you will be asked to submit evidence of at least 2 years for that purpose.
