ILR - British husband unemployed

Post by bluerinser » Fri May 22, 2009 10:11 pm

Hi there,
I will be applying for my ILR next week.

However a few months ago, my husband had to close his business (credit crunch!!) and is now in the midst starting another new business, on a smaller scale..
he is currently unemployed and is receiving contribution based jobseekers allowance.
I am currently working and earn enough to support the both of us.
We also have some savings but it is now all in my name as we were worried that the creditors would take it all away!

Do I have to include my husband's bank account statements in my application? I wasn't sure if I should just provide my bank statements or include my husband's as well?

Will my husband being unemployed affect my ILR application? What can I do to make sure it doesn't?

Thanks!
