Naturalisation for Spouse - what evidence do i need to give?

Post by alisha_niq » Tue Oct 20, 2009 10:31 pm

Hi there,

Just starting the AN application for my hubby and am slightly confused as to what evidence i need to provide with application. As its a non EEA route, there is no mention of income details etc, is this right? I am sending passport, ESOL requirements, Marriage Certificate (original and certified translation) my birth certificate etc but should i provide utility bills, employer letters etc? We both work, and have decent jobs and income but the application does not state i need to provide it which is kind of bizarre! Please advise

Regards

Alisha

by the way, hubby has had ILR since 2003 and meets residency requirement. Been married 8 1/2 years, i'm British born and bred. We think its about time he applied for naturalisation.
