No it will not go against you as there is no requirement to have been living together when applying for a fiance visa.lizziet wrote:Hi there
I would be really grateful if anyone is able to answer my question:
My boyfriend was refused a student visa extension and has to leave the UK in about 2 weeks. We have now got engaged as we love each other and don't want to split up so we are going to apply for a fiance visa when he gets home. We have been together for 9 months and have lots of evidence (photos, texts, calls etc) but we haven't been living together.
Will it go against us if he was living in UK but we were't living together?
Thanks very much
