Spouse visa in process, sponsor changing employment

Post by hoeny123 » Wed Nov 03, 2010 2:35 pm

Dear friends,

I have got a query and need your urgent advice about the change of employer while my wife's settlement visa application has been forwarded to BHC islamabad and has not yet been sent to croydon to eb assigned to an ECO for processing.

my wife applied about three and half weeks ago and now I have recently been informed by my employer that due to the current economic climate the company is being closed down soon and the trading will be ceased by the end of this month from this company though the directors have got another company located on a different location but in the same city and all the business (customers) from this company will be transfered on to their second company not the staff except for few people. So in a sense they are making all the staff redundant at the first company. Now by the time my application reaches at croydon and assigned to an ECO, the company will be closed completely. Now i feel that i must do something because if i leave it as it is and do not take any action now then the ECO might make a call to confirm my employment refernce and the results could be disastrous. luckily I immediately applied for a job and got it and have to start by the end of this month or in begingin of the next after i finish my notice period. Now I need you guys advice on how shall i go about it to ensure that my wife's visa application doesn't affect from the change of employer.....

would appreciate any advice / suggestion from the respected members ????
