SPOUSE VISA

Post by 7777 » Sun Nov 07, 2010 3:42 pm

Hi, just wondering if anyone can help, a friend of mine applied for a visa to stay in the country for medical reasons using form flr (o). Application was denied coz she used deception before, they havent advised her when to leave the uk, they just said she has the right to appeal or go back to her country and apply for appropriate entry clearance. She rang UKBA to find out if she was subject to the 10 yr ban and they said she wouldnt be if she left voluntarily. She has a british partner and they have been together for 5yrs and lived together for more than 2yrs, Now they have a 4 wks old baby. Any chance they'll give her a spouse visa if applied for one or if she wanted to come and visit the baby in future would she be able to get a visa or is it a waste of time? Should she even bother with the appeal or just leave the country and forget it??
