RE: Settlement Refusal

Hi All,

I recently found out about this board but i guess this is bit late. Anyhow i applied for my wife's visa as settlement which they have rejected now because of quite a few issues. Which i think i made some mistakes that what i have realized now. Anyhow i have appeal option and thinking what shall i do for her visa in this situation. Should i go for new application or should i go for appeal.

Following are the reasons:
Why we applied for her settlement visa after 7 months of nikkah :S as i got my nikkah done in September 2010 and then got married in Jan 2011.
I didnt send all personal chats or emails however i did include nikkah and marriages photographs..
I enclosed my bank statements which is on my sister address and i enclosed my property documents which i own alongwith utility bills, that is other address So they raised issue on address confusion...


Now i need to know what shall i do? should i appeal or should i go for fresh application?

What they consider nikkah as engagement or marriage ? if they do as marriage then what shall i explain my
nikkah in sep 2010 and then marriage in jan 2011?

how long roughly take for a appeal to be process ?

Can i do appeal myself or do i have to do solicitors (ofcourse they are far expensive.) if u know some1 cost effective then do let me know...
