Indefinite Leave to Enter

Post by Lucks » Thu Jun 30, 2011 6:30 pm

I have just been granted ILR with my spouse and my son based on 5 years WP.

My daughter lives and studies in India. She always come over on Family tourist visa. She is 14 now and is sttudying in yr 10 in India but I would like to call her over after her Yr 10 or Yr 11. I would like to apply for her Indefinite leave to enter. Can I do it from Uk or do I need to apply from India? Will she have to travel immediately after the ILE is granted? or if she decides to come after yr 11, can she do so? What form will I need? I could not find any information on UKBA website. Can someone provide me any link?

Thanks

Thanks Vinny,

When she gets the clearance, will she have to travel immediately? If she decides to come after 1 year, will her entry clearance still be valid. Can she travel in and out of Uk until she decides to settle permanently? Any information in this regard will be great. Thanks
