1. English Test Certificate

This is an absolute must, the number of people who keep making the same mistake and it's frustrating because all they have to do is read the UKBA site and some threads and they'd realise, it doesn't matter if you're married to Prince Charles, if you teach English in University or even if you got a Phd in English. GET THE ENGLISH TEST DONE AND SUBMIT THE ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE.

As for other documents, Batley has provided a superb summary, please read the following post.

Scroll to the last post on that page and there's not much you can do to go wrong.

If you do all that and you're still refused, either you've hidden information ie lied to them or more likely you're one of the few who they seem to want to refuse because of the luck of the draw.

what we submitted:

IELTS Certificate, Marriage certificate, Bank statements of both of us, Bank statements of My parents, sponsor letter from me and my parents, Pay slips and p60's, phone bills, call cards, email print outs, photographs, air-tickets, mortgage letters, photo identities i.e. driving licence and stuff, savin banks statements, wedding photographs, letter issued by UKBA, copy of letter notifying ukba of voluntary leave, AND the most important of all is that we told just the truth, and jst be totally honest with them.

Wish u all gd luck and will remember all of u in prayers.....
