Settlement visa for husband from india

HI friends ,

I am from india ,got recently married in auguest,2011 . My wife is UK citizen . I am preparing to apply for Settlement visa .

My documents

1 .My Passport
2. Birth Cerificate
3. Marriage certificate
4.Four dayMarriage preparation course we attended together in mar 2011 from church
5 Wedding invitation card
6 Engagement and wedding photos
7 photographs as per UKB requirements

8 . Call logs from an online service which i used to call her (calleasy.com)

English language requirement

1 . My degree certificate

2 . Transcript of marks from university showing my medium of study as english

3 . UK NARIC comparability letter stating my degree is comparable to UK honours


My wife's documents

1 . covering letter inviting me to uk

2 . Certified copy of British passport, OCI card and india visa page

3. Original expirted indian passport showing her first uk visa

4 . Bank statements

(A) Dec - Jan ,Jan - Feb ,Feb-march,March - april , april -May,May-June,June-July


5. Employment contract &form of accepence

6 Pay slip from dec 2010 - June 2011

7.tenancy agreement


My questions


(1 )Am I missing something ? Please comment . I am waiting for your valuable suggestions and help .


(2) The bank stament are up to july only . She just got her new statement . Should i need that ?

The payslip now i have is till june 2011 only . She just got the new payslip for july and august . Should i need that ?


I want to apply as soon as possible . I promise to share my expericnce here with you all . Thanks in advance .

Your last bank statement should ideally be no more than 4 weeks old if and when you apply.
