Hello, since the rules have gone back to 18 years of age for a spouse, is this only for the person applying for the visa?

As in, my partner is british and is 17 and i am 18 on a student visa. Can she get maried to me and me applying for a spouse visa?

Does she need to get permisson from her parents since she is under 18? Also, since she is a full time student, can her parents sponsor by showing and telling about their finances in which we would not need to resort to public funds?

Or do I have to show my finances in my home country as I have more than enough to support me and her if I stay here frmo omney back home?

Both parties need to be 18. See para 277

Thanks Greenie. If we are both 18 but are full time students, would it be fine that her parents sponsor her for me or will I need to prove my income back home which I can easily do?

If her parents are resident in the UK, they can provide 3rd party financial support.
