Housing Act 1985 and 1988

Hi,

Can anyone tell me that is there any difference b/w Housing Act 1985 and 1988 (for dewelling houses)?

My accomodation contract says it is according to Act 1988 so when i apply for spouse visa would it create any problem? bcz Home office ask for Hosuing Act 1985.
