IHS fee - Settlement - Urgent

Post by RadUK2016 » Tue Jun 14, 2016 7:29 am

Hi Guys,

Many thanks for your time.

I am on ILR. I am doing application for my wife & daughter (1 years and 7 months old). I am doing settlement visa application for them to join me in UK

While I am doing Pay for IHS from online portal http://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk, I am getting GBP 0 for her.

I tried two separate application --> one without adding details "Are you applying to join or remain with a person in UK" and one with adding details "Are you applying to join or remain with a person in UK"

Both are showing GBP 0. I am not sure if this is correct? Is there any surcharge for infant?

Which option is right - do I have to add details of "are you applying to join/remain a person in UK" or not?

Please help as my appointment is for tomorrow and I have to pay and print the application

Many Thanks,
Radhika

If your child is under 18 than your not meant to pay:

see: https://www.gov.uk/healthcare-immigrati ... eed-to-pay

You will just need an IHS number which should be generated free.

Looks like when you add this person details then it behaves like "Applying to join somebody (a main applicant) in the UK"

@llcoolj-786 : Are you sure?
When i look at the link above it says you dont have to pay if :
* you’re a child under 18 who has been taken into care by a local authority
Means other children have to pay?

I can see all with children in similar scenarios paid ihs fees.

Other children apart from those taken into care are required to pay.
