FLR(M) financial help: shareholder in company

Post by skum » Thu Sep 15, 2016 9:27 am

Hello everyone,

My husband is director of company and I run day to day working of company. I am share holder of company and I receive small monthly income and dividends.

We also receive rental income (1350 per month)-which comes directly to my account.

My question is
Can I apply for category C - Non employment income
1350 X12 =16200
plus I received 5000 dividend in last financial year.

I am worried as my husband is director and our company does fall into paragraph 9(a)! So do we need to apply category F? I am trying to avoiding Category F as it needs so much documents

Please help.

anyone please??

My appointment is on Tuesday- really stressed!
I am thinking of taking two application forms FLR(M)s - as I qualify for two categories
(I) cash saving and (2) non employment income (rental+ dividend).

My cash saving is from remortgage of a rental property. even though senior members suggested that it should be ok but I don't want to take chance....

(2) dividend - I have received through a company where I am 50% share h older but my husband is director. hence the confusion whether to apply in non employment category or self employed F category??
