Residence card. waiting time ?

Hi Everybody :D

I hope everyone could write here, how long their waiting time for a residence card took and if they are still waiting,then when they submitted and thank you very much.


Applied 15 of august and still waiting! :(

Is this the non-EEA family member of EEA national residence card? The BIA website says they are working on applications received in October 2007. Are they lying? Or are you talking about a different residence card?

Anxious to know, because I've got an EEA2 application in!

yes it is the non EEA family member of EEA national.

Fortunately less then 2 months in our case. Applied beginning of July and had it at the end of August. Probably because we sent EU1 and EU2 together.

So I guess, we can count ourself lucky.

Unfortunately, we're applying under the Surinder Singh rule, so there's no need for him to register via the EEA1 application.

I applied on the 20th of November 2007 and have not heard back from them. Does anyone know if there is any way to speed up the application? I can't bvelieve that someone is still waiting from July!!!

Hello,

They are currently processing applications submitted in OCT referring to their website but I applied in DEC and have receive a letter requesting my passport where am asylum seeker from Somalia. Wot can i do? In your cases applied around JULY & AUGUST you should start chasing by writing or calling.

Non-EEA family member of EEA national, applied 9th August, since 6 month deadline expired have submitted 2 complaints, but still no answers & no real explanation as to why they are taking so long!
