Spousal Visa Application - Pakistan

Hi can someone tell me

That after applying for a settlement visa,can the sponsor stay in pak with her husband till they dont get a response e.g.visa granted or refused??

Even if it takes 3 months for the entire process or will that affect the application as the sponsor will be off work??

if the sponsors off work will there be a wage coming in? what if they ring the employer and get told the person is not there? you have to take these things into consideration...a

hi Sal7786... I have to agree with Y3NVY. You should get this looked by a professional 3 months is a long time off work and then again having a family member as your employer, That can sound strange to them. Im sure the british embassy look for any minor faults that they can pick on

The employer is family,also when applying sponsor declared she will be in pak on paid leave an then will return after a month,however she decided to stay there till she gets a response but now is on unpaid leave.will that be a problem??can they check with the bank if there is still income coming in.also when applied she had 4thousand pounds in her acc and also showed 3months wage coming in on her statements.

She does genuinly work there,its just because its family they give her time off work,also just to clarify the business is her familys but the employer running the business isnt part of the family.

Do you think i should advise her to return back to the uk?? She made her application a few days before mine? Or is it too late to tell her to come back?

My appeal hearing was on the 4th of April 2012, which got accepted and my solicitor received the determination today, dated 09 May2012. Could some tell me what to do i do from here and what is the set time frame for what ever comes next.

After your determination letter you will recieve a call letter in a couple of days or so may take longer as i know courts can be slow. Then once you get that then take passport to gerrys with a valid tb test and then it take about a week or so for them to stamp the passport.

people have different time scales i have seen some people wait 3 months for a call letter too but look on the bright side you know it will all come to an end soon for you.

After your determination letter you will recieve a call letter in a couple of days or so may take longer as i know courts can be slow. Then once you get that then take passport to gerrys with a valid tb test and then it take about a week or so for them to stamp the passport.

people have different time scales i have seen some people wait 3 months for a call letter too but look on the bright side you know it will all come to an end soon for you.

I agree with Zully here, there's no set time frame, my hubby got his decision overturned and call letter emailed the same day, then he gave his passport few days later and got his visa in three days, there's no time but just luck, just pray to Allah and inshallah ull see the power of your duas..

This is the A1 test. I gave it on 28th April. It's pretty basic actually. Only speaking and listening. Listening test is for around 45 mins and speaking is for around 10-15 mins.

im a bit stressed my workplace hasnt had a call yet to confirm my employment, why is it taking soo long... why they drag these thing out too much.

Yeah, they arrange a court date just in case, when I got no reply and it was a week over the date given, I rang the tribunal in England, they said they had no reply so they were gonna give me a court date just in case, but they also said to me that all hope isn't lost, it's possible that the decision is overturned even now, and they were so right, out of the blue we got a call with allahz help and asked for his email address, and sent the call letter on the same day, if it went to court I would have still been preparing for it but Alhamdulillah..!!!
It is a long wait but on e it's over u forget u ever waited n it's worth it.. Good luck x

No Darling I havent got anything i was just looking as ns99 timeline and saw the deadline then court date...and inbetween decision was over turned so i just asked.....

Im so unlucky court was only doing the 5th April appeal I handed mine in on the 19th.. If there is a miracle then i will be shocked otherwise i have to wait a few weeks before i recieve any letter from the court.

@zully ... the ECO believed my marriage was of convenience and not real. Though enough evidence was provided.

@ns99 ... Call letter emailed the same day on to your hubbys i.e applicants email ID provided in the original application ? Do you know of any other medium they send the call letter?

Frustrating bit with my wait is that everything right from the start of my application to the appeal was the same. I mean the visa application and bundle that u send for the appeal was pretty much the same and the judge even failed to understand why my visa was rejected. Feels lyk the UKBA is takin a piss on purpose. If the time scale is 4 weeks for sumthing, i get a reply in the fifth week .

I am not sure what you do from here i have not got that far at all in my application.
But some people have waited a while maybe ask naila whom you can contact or call the court to find out what the next step is.

Try not to get stressed home office to take their time and do make up what ever they wish who know why! But forget that now you know its nearly come to an end and i a sure some one on this forum will tell you what to do next.

They called him on his mobile and asked him for his address..! It was so quick no the email address wasn't provided before that, just make sure the number written on the application is available

That is so cute... good to see you both have your own lives and you respect the fact that you need time with other people too.....
