JOB APPLICATION; APPLY WITH MARRIED NAME OR MAIDEN NAME ON BRP?

Post by debooy2 » Fri May 25, 2018 3:43 am

Hi All,

Morning to you. Please can you all support me in making this decision.

Is it okay for someone on spousal visa to apply for work in married name by just presenting married certificate as a proof of new surname even if BRP has the maiden name?

If you want to opt married name then passport & BRP need to be updated with new name otherwise simply carry on using the older version of name which won't require to update anything about name.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.
