Hi
I have paid IHS and submitted passport on 27th April. Can anyone help me if knows how long it takes to get passport back.
Some people said it takes 10 days and some 8 weeks.

Regards

Someone on another forum emailed the paid for enquiry service and they stated they aim to return within 15 working days.

I am waiting for IHS link yet so let's see.

Thanks a lot submit for your kind reply. But the whole process including submitting application, refusal and appeal. Now appeal withdrawn that took nearly 1.5 years and my wife waiting for me back home. Could you please tell me do I need to worry about or she easily get visa?
Listen... once your appeal is withdrawn you will have to pay IHS fees if asked...and then you need to submit your passport... this procedure takes time... be calm you will get your Visa.... this procedure is really lengthy but you will surely receive it.. wait for the call or email... I have gone through same situation trust me you will get it they take some time but u will get it

No it doesn't take 10 days... I submitted my passport on 29 Jan and got it on 1st March... so be patient... and don't miss any calls... sometimes you may not get any email but calls... so pick up calls and check emails... but it takes long it doesn't come in 10 days

We are also waiting after submitting 8th May @ Lahore. Almost 1 month has passed. People get passport back after varying amount of weeks it appears.

Waiting for passport collection!

Post by Libbykashif » Wed Jun 12, 2019 12:18 pm

Hi guys i am also waiting since 21st april since my husband sumbitted his passport in islamabad gerrys office. We won the case through appeal. We also sunbitted ihs fees but havent heard anything at all. Ive sent complaint emails but havent received anything from them either. Does anyone actually know if they stamp the visa in the visa centre itself or send it somehwere to be stamped? :?: :|
Why would they take soooo long. :(

Try emailing paid ukvi contact centre asking them to escalate to relevant department. I have done so after 5 weeks waiting and they have said I should hear back within 15 working days.

I have already spoke to them and they said the same thing to me but they just give you an estimate. They honestly do not know what they are talking about. Its gonna be the 8th week for us on tuesday

They stamp visa in Sheffield. Not the Visa Centre in your home country.

And the 15 days they give, when you contact them, is not for getting the passport back. It’s for getting a response from them.

I wonder why some people get their passport back in 10 days, while others have to wait for 2 months..

No need of another one because you are not applying any visa. Simply carry old expired TB test.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Hi

It seems like you don't need to get a new TB test done. See this older thread immigration-for-family-members/travelli ... 60729.html.
