Leave to remain on another route (10-year partner route)

Hello,

I'll be glad if I can get some advice/information on what to do. I have been granted leave to remain under the 10-year partner route instead of 5-year partner route which I applied for. The reason is because i did not provide evidence of qualification in English language, A2. I was granted a 10-year route because of my parental relationship.

I'm aware this cannot be appealed as stated in the letter. Can I take the English test and request for a reconsideration of this decision.

That is not possible, reconsideration would work only if at the time of application you met the requirements.
