House inspection report

Post by Cam123 » Tue Jul 23, 2019 7:15 pm

Hi,
I had a inspection report today, actually I live in a shared house and it is four bedroom house, there are four people living here including me. Today surveyor inspect the whole house apart from one room as it was locked the person who live in that room was not there. The surveyor said he will put ROOM not accessible and was locked. I wanted to ask that will it be a problem for spouse visa or will it be acceptable by ECO or do I need to get it done again. Certainly the house will not be overcrowded if my family moves in.
Thanks

Hi,
I spoke with the surveyor and she said it is a common practice in shared accommodation to not get access. They put room locked but also mentioned that property will not be overcrowded and is also safe. Do you think ECO will reject the application,
Is there anyone who came across this situation. Any suggestions will be appreciated
Thanks

Definitely not a common practice. Caseworker may contact to surveyor or landlord if gets any doubt.

no if no other none-related adults.

Surveyor would be happy to verify and also the landlord, I would also include landlord noc plus telling the structure of property and the people living there,
Do you think it will be ok?
Thanks
