Wife of British Citizen

Post by srkv03 » Tue Dec 24, 2019 10:03 pm

Hi,
I was on ILR and my wife had a FLR(M) visa. She also extended her visa a couple of years ago. I have recently acquired British Citizenship. My wife's FLR(M) is due for extension. She is not eligible for ILR yet as she spent more than 6 months away from UK in the past 3 years. She is an Indian citizen. Which visa will she need to apply for? Can she simply extend here FLR(M) visa once again as she has done in the past?
Please advise.
TIA

There is no absence limit for FLR M spouse visa holders.

If she has held FLR M visa for 5 years she can apply for ilr.
