Flr (fp) extension

Post by Shondra Sharma » Sun Mar 22, 2020 2:29 pm

Hi forum,
Me and my wife applying flr(fp) extension under 10 year route. My child is British.
In online form: there is a section: Non-applying parents —What does that means?
Do you have a partner who is not applying on this application?
Yes OR NO

Could you please help me out?

If you have to meet a financial requirement (e.g. adequate maintenance) and are using employment income to meet that requirement, then yes, you would have to provide an employment letter. Generally under the 10 year route, the financial requirement would not be applicable though.
I'm just a guy on the Internet who immigrated to the UK. My opinions are based on my experience and interpretation of the immigration rules and should not be considered legal or immigration advice; your mileage may vary.

I got 6 month payslip, 6 month bank statement(payment coming directly to my bank), P60 but I forgot to make employment letter.
When I apply under 10 year route online - option coming like your payslip, bank statement , employer letter
Need to tick all of them otherwise I am not able to next step
Is it alright just tick employment letter even I don’t have this

Same answer. If you have to meet a financial requirement, then it is a required piece of evidence for income from employment. Note that the same online application form is typically used for visas covering a variety of situations and just because it comes up on the form does not necessarily mean it is required. Details on required evidence for the various family life categories are in the guidance document linked below.
