There is no absence limit.

He must return before his visa expires to apply for an extension.

For extensions, WhatsApp chats are Not required. Evidence of cohabitation at the same address in both names is what is required.

Yes you mentioned that earlier

The only reason I ask is because there's a question on the form that goes: "Is there any period where you didn't live together, if yes then it asks for a reason." Would it lead to doubts/refusal if I just put: went to visit family etc?

I just thought WhatsApp chat evidence may show that we've been talking at least during that period apart for 2-3 months?

Would it lead to doubts/refusal if I just put: went to visit family etc? I think that question is only in the initial entry clearance form. The renewal FLR doesn't have that question. Your relationship isn't in doubt anymore (genuineness). They just need to know if it's continuing and subsisting.

I just thought WhatsApp chat evidence may show that we've been talking at least during that period apart for 2-3 months? Not required, you're completely overthinking it.

Thanks Amazonion and Ticktack. This is the question that's on the flr form for your information:

"Have you lived together since marriage?, If no provide details."

So if she went abroad for couple of months, I would have to say no here right? this is what I was referring to. Wouldn't they doubt and wonder why she spent that long apart from partner?

Or would this not matter?

Thanks

Also had a different question On a separate note, regarding financial combinations:

E. G. Given, I earn more than the 18,600 income, If I provided 6 months employment payslips and statements but 3 months I took unpaid leave, would I need to combine cash savings with this, if so how much would I need to show in cash savings?

Or can I just provide 12month payslips so they can see I didn't receive a salary for 3 months, but still make above the limit anyway even without them 3 months?

Thanks
Shyam

Wouldn't be more than 3 months.

So the cohabitation during that period, she would need to show where she was living in that period apart?

Or do you mean cohabitation evidence as in our UK address I. E. Letters/correspondence etc, during those months where she was abroad and I was in uk?

Thanks

For example, if it was urgent/emergency I. E. Medical or family emergency etc, then could we provide evidence to Support this that she had to be there for 2-3 months?

UK cohabitation evidence only.

It doesn't matter if they go abroad. You are over thinking this completely.

OK thanks.

1) can you advise on above please?

2) Would it be a problem for my visa decision if I worked from abroad if I was allowed?

Hi guys. Just a random question.

If my wife is on spouse visa, am I able to get travel insurance online for both of us as a couple? As one of the terms is she must be living in the UK permanently so not sure if being on a spouse visa counts as Permanent?

Looking to travel so need travel insurance for both of us.

Thanks

You are submitting way too much stuff. Why are you submitting so much totally unnecessary documents?

You simply need :

Applicants Passport and BRP card
English A2 as a minimum
6 months Payslips (only one of you need to meet the financial requirement)
6 months corresponding bank statements
Employer letter confirming employment details.
2 years evidence of cohabitation WITHIN the UK in both your names, from 3 to 6 difference sources and items for every 3 to 4 months.

Hi guys thanks for all your help. I've just submitted my application. I've booked the visa appt for 1st of June as that was the free one available.

1) Will it be a problem if its this far in future?

On another note, I'm having few issues with uploading certain docs on ukvcas.

It keeps moaning and say try a different device or browser which I have. I've even recreated the pdf and it's still saying it. Rest of my pdfs have uploaded with no problems, I have 7 documents yet to upload which is causing problems.

They're not oversized at all or have special characters in the file name. Only character I have used is underscore on file names and it's worked for the rest of my files.

Any help? I've messaged ukvcas but wanted to see if anyone else faced similar issues and had solutions?

Thanks
Shyam

No! The date of application is the date you submit and pay online. It is not the biometric appointment date.

I think I tried that, I'll try again. Thanks.

I just realised a mistake I've made on the application under The Immigration section. My partner was born in India so I've included this and the dates from and to under the section that asked "Have you lived anywhere outside the Uk including your country of birth?"

However I forgot to also add that she lived in Kenya (in which she is citizen and has Kenyan passport) as she moved there afterwards.

Will this be an issue? I did put the reason that she lived in India becusse she was born there and moved to Kenya afterwards at age **. I've also put the reference number to her initial spouse visa application we made, not sure if that would help?

Getting a bit worried now.

Kind regards
Shyam

Thanks I'll do that.

The upload still didn't work, one of the documents is just a title register pdf I downloaded from the Land registry website. Not sure why it's not letting me upload. I even removed all characters and just put a simple name.

Kind regards
Shyam
