Can apply for Australian Immigration from Dubai?

Hi,

I am working in Dubai, UAE since last 6 months for a software organization but my home country is Pakistan.

Can I apply for Australian immigration from Dubai? Or is there any rule to spend sometime in current country before applying like in the case for Canadian Immigration.

Yes, you can lodge your application while being in Dubai
