Jobs market of Java and PHP in AUS/NZ

Hey guys.

I am Software Engineer, having graduation in the same field. I have about 2.5 years of solid experience in PHP/MySql.

I want to know that what expertise are more valuable in both Australia and Newzealand, PHP or Java. Are there enough jobs for PHP developers having 3 yrs of exp. Or is it better to have the expertise in java.

In terms of, job availability, salary etc.
