I hope someone can give me some advise please
I submitted my further submission on asylum in june 2019.
I went to reporting last month and lady on counter told me that my decision is ready since april this year. She didnt tell me anything else.
I am waiting for it now. How long does home office take to send decision?
I am very confused

That’s strange, go thru your MP to get a quick reply from HO.

Hi everyone. Hope all is well with you. Can someone give me an idea how substantive interview goes? I applied for asylum November 2018, I had my screening December 2018 and I received a letter yesterday that I will have my interview on August 1st 2019 at Birmingham enclosed with biometric letter that will be done on the same day. Advise and answers are greatly appreciated.

It will be very detail interview regarding ur claim.
Be prepare and clear about each and every aspect bcz all questions are linked with each other. Also they ask same question again and again with slighty different ways and then compare ur answers.Be confident .
Also ask u about ur background, family, immigration.
Any proofs of ur claim.if u have any bring that with u and give them if they ask u.
Gud luck

Thank you for this! I am surprised that my substantive interview is quite soon. Is it normal that they will ask for biometric? I had a very complicated case as I got married with British I left him due to domestic violence. And my spouse visa was curtailed I was detained as well. It’s a ashamed that when I left my husband I was still waiting for my spouse visa to be granted as I entered here as a fiancé. Whilst my spouse visa is on process with HO I left him without thinking of the visa as I was being abused.
