Conversion from Tier2 ICT Dependat to Tier 2 General

Hi,

My husband is on a Tier 2 ICT Long term visa and I am his dependant. I have started working now and my company is ready to sponsor a work visa for me.

1. Would this be a Tier 2 General Visa?
2. If yes, can i swithc to a Tier 2 General visa while am in the UK?
3. My husband's visa is expiring in March 2015 and as per the arrangements that his firm has with the UK govt, his visa cannot be extended further. So, if i get my visa, can he convert his current visa as my dependant? And, can this be done while we are in the UK?
4. Our children, are also on a dependant visa to my husband. If they are also to convert as my dependant's, can it be done while we are in the UK or should it be done from our home country?

Please advice.

1. Yes. Provided your employer holds a sponsorship License

2. No. You will have to apply for entry clearance from your Home Country.

3. Once you re enter UK on your Tier 2 General Visa, your husband can change to your dependent from within UK

4. Not sure. Experts please share your thoughts.
