Long Residency Dependents Visa

Post by yaacir » Tue Jun 10, 2014 7:24 pm

Hi
Could any one help please. I came in the UK on 1st Sep 2004. Mywife came in the UK in July 2007 and we have 2 kids aged 6 and 3.5. I am on tier 1 general visa. My Visa is expiring on 5th August 2014. I will be eligible for 10 years long residency on 3rd August 2014, I want to ask that can I include my dependents with my application becuase their visa are expiring on same date but they havent completed 10 years in this country so how it will work. I have gone through home office website they strictly saying not to include dependents in 10 years long residency application??????

Please suggest.......................

I assume both children were born in the UK? Spouse should apply for FLR(M) asking for a decision to be made after yours. A1 English and Financial Requirement.

Children may skip additional leave, so far as they're not travelling, instead, they can apply for citizenship as soon as you're granted ILR: s1(3) BNA.

You'd just mention the children in 4.7 if they're not applying for leave. Your spouse would be granted limited leave to remain under Appendix FM I believe.
