Financial Requirements Confused

Post by jafferdeen » Sun Jul 06, 2014 5:25 pm

Hi All

my friend is applying for his wife spouse visa.My friend has ILR on the basis of 10 years. He is running his own Limited Company .His wife is also working for same company. Both are the director of the company and receive salary from company each month. If the both combine their salaries then it is around 20K which fulfill the requirements.
Q.1- Can they both meet the financial requirement using both salaries.
Q-2 -They are on company PAYE does it make any difference if they work for their own company? They both have P-60
Q-3 Do they need to show Dividend payment as well and company final accounts as they are not yet due ?
q-4 What they need to show the last most recent 12 months for financial requirements????

Provided they have been earning this for the last 6 months, then I believe she will be fine.

9.1.1. Where the applicant‟s partner (and/or the applicant if they are in the UK with permission to work) is in self-employment, or is the director of a specified limited company in the UK, at the date of application, they can use income from the last full financial year to meet the financial requirement.

Or

9.2.1. Where the applicant‟s partner (and/or the applicant if they are in the UK with permission to work) is in self-employment, or is the director of a specified limited company in the UK, at the date of application, they can choose instead to rely on Category G. This allows them to use an average of the income received in the last two full financial years to meet the financial requirement.

Hi
if some one highlight please. I am a director of a limited company and company is not of a type as specified in paragraph 9(a). i.e., i am only shareholde. Its mentioned in appendix FM that if a person is getting salary in such a type of company that could be counted as salaried person in category A or B of employment.
I am getting salary since 7 months of 14K now i am thinking to have dividend of 5K to make 19K so that i can fullfill the 18600 requirement. In guidance its mentioned that category A or category B can be combined with category C(non-employment, i.e., dividend etc).

If any person highlight whether i picked the right understanding.

will be highly appreciated.

hi could any one clear the confusion about type of company as in paragraph 9(a) which states that
i) a person is director of the company
and
ii) shares are held by the person, their partner or other family members, like cousin etc
and
iii) any remaining shares are held by fewer than five other persons

and if there iss only one director in the company and no other share holder, and if that person taking salary from that compant. then that company income could be counted in category A or B or category F.

Its mentioned in paragraph 9(a) that there is doubt that company is owned by family ownership as there different persons involved so the consider this in paragraph 9(a) and category F

Hi
could any one highlight pls

I am director of a company and receiving salary of 14K since 7 months and i got job in sales marketing as supervisor as well since 1 month from which i am getting 1200/month(approximately 14K annually).
so can i combine both two incomes as in category A and category F
and whether these two have to be in the same year ,i.e., 2014-2015 and whether i have to wait for category F to be in whole financial year or just 6 months

will be highly appreciated

Rizmir
