One of the main requirements is the company's papers need to be in order.arnomarga wrote:How old the company should be to apply for work permit? I mean is there any restriction of years in order to apply for work permit?
If the company has only recently been established in the UK and can't provide all the evidence because of this, it says the company may only get a work permit lasting 18 months initially.arnomarga wrote:How old the company should be to apply for work permit? Also see this guidance for caseworkers on the BIA website6. Border and Immigration Agency reserves the right to contact other authorities in order to verify the evidence received or to obtain any other information we consider necessary in order to consider your application, and, to limit the period of the work permit to 18 months or refuse your work permit application where insufficient evidence is provided.
It does not say that a company has be established for a particular length of time before they can apply for a work permit.Caseworkers should note, however, that unless the employer is long established in the UK and is in an industrial sector deemed as being low-risk, any approvals should be limited 18 months.
